About
In my youth, I learned the basics of massage from my father who had taken massage courses for personal interest. My desire to expand my knowledge lead me in 1988 to the New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts. There is where my thirst for knowledge about me, my body, mind and soul began.
The course offered a wide range of hands-on therapy possibilities: Polarity, Lymph Drainage, Trigger Points, Acupressure, Foot Kinesiology, Reflex Massage, Postural Analysis, Neuromuscular Massage.
In 1992, I went to Germany. There, I was able to work in a large rehabilitation clinic. I was given the therapeutic freedom from the Head Doctor to experiment and combine different techniques to come up with personalized therapy for each patient.
During the years in Germany, I learned about their Kneipp Therapy (water therapies by Dr Kneipp), electrotherapy, Akupunktmassage and nach Penzel (a technique to balance energy that flows in meridians). I also began my way to becoming a Reiki Master.
Still having room in my head for more information, I enrolled in a course to become certified as a Heilpractiker (Healing Practitioner). That meant another year of intense anatomy and pathology and natural remedies.
My quest to understand “me” continues; the better I understand “me”, the more I become capable of helping others in the form of relieving unanswered pains. Pains that have manifested in the physical body might have come from the emotional body (mind) or the spiritual body (soul).
Wherever the pain comes from, I’m pretty sure you don’t want it. It is quite possible that I can help you to help yourself.
